This is how both River and Boca reached the CONMEBOL Libertadores Final: Check out all their goals here

The first leg takes place this Saturday at Boca's La Bombonera stadium

This is a decisive week in the CONMEBOL Libertadores. After 9 months of competition, only two teams are left with the dream of lifting the prestigious trophy in tact. Boca Juniors and River Plate will face off and it's the first time a Superclásico had taken place in the final of South America's most important competition. It'll also be the first time the final has been contested between two Argentinian sides.

Boca and River have reached the showcase event in very different circumstances but the records read as identical: both have won 6 matches, drawn 5 and lost just 1. However Boca have scored more goals, 21 to River's 14, and conceded less, 6 compared to 9, on their route to the final.

River dominated their group and reached the Last 16 as the fourth highest finisher. They were unbeaten until the 1-0 home defeat to Gremio in the semi-finals and have knocked out three former champions along the way in Racing, Independiente and Gremio.

Boca only just got out of Group H as they finished second and were helped out by Palmeiras beating Junior in the final set of group fixtures. In the knockout rounds they stepped it up a gear as they defeated Libertad, Cruzeiro and Palmeiras. Boca won four matches, drew 2, and scored an impressive 13 goals. Here are all the goals in both Boca and River's route to the final.
