Rafael Santos Borré was a key man in River Plate's attack and scored the crucial equaliser as the Argentinian side completed their comeback against Gremio, earning themselves a place in the CONMEBOL Libertadores Final.
"This team doesn't need to be resurrected, this team has the heart to play until the last second and we saw that today," manifested the Colombian striker following the 2-1 victory. "We were convinced, mentally, that we were superior to them. We were in control of the match and should've scored earlier," he added.
The 23-year-old striker was left in no doubt as to who was the more dominant side at the Arena do Gremio. "We were always superior. Now we have to wait until the next match to see who our opponent will be. We're already in the final."
