Pity Martínez recreates the goal he scored in Madrid at el Monumental

The midfielder, who now bids farewell to River, recreated the goal he scored in the final against Boca.

"In the goal against Boca, I felt cramp everywhere," Pity Martínez explained with his daughter Pilar in his arms. "In this place I was very happy," said the midfielder fighting back the tears. As soon as he finished his speech, Marcelo Gallardo was the first to hug him. During River's CONMEBOL Libertadores final celebrations in Spain, Pity confessed that he would be leaving the club in January. At el Monumental, the midfielder recreated his goal which ended Boca Junior's hopes two weeks ago in Madrid. It was preplanned as the lights on the pitch led the way to the goal. And Pity, like any great showman, was happy to oblige his audience. It was down to the children of the various players to finish off the chance and put the goal in the back of the net.
