The Talleres midfielder was happy with his goal and to have helped his team secure an important victory over a tough opponent in Sao Paulo.

Juan Ramírez brought the ball down with his chest before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net: "The truth is we opened the scoring with a goal with outside the box. Thanks to god I could do that! We know it's Sao Paulo and how significant it was."

On the match itself, he said: "It was the match we've been waiting for. It's the match we've been looking forward to and wishing to happen. We were focused, worked hard all work and knew what we had to do."
